The city must ensure that the speed of motorists in that area is not a primary route for emergency services, and it must receive the signature of seventy-five percent of residents in the neighborhood.

The city will then review the data and determine if the proposed speed humps are in line with the city’s volume and speed measures. If it does, the application will likely be approved.
